Telana Trust Centre
Telana’s Trust Centre: our security certifications, ISO standards and Azure Expert MSP status, set out as verifiable evidence, not marketing.
Before a technology leader hands part of their estate to an outside partner, they need to answer one quiet question: can we trust these people with the systems the business runs on. This page answers it with evidence rather than adjectives.
Everything below is independently certified. Where we hold a certification, we name the standard, the body behind it, and what it actually attests to. Credentials are not the headline of what Telana does. They are the floor we build on.
How to vet a technology partner on security and compliance
If you are shortlisting partners, the certificates themselves matter less than what they prove about how a firm operates day to day. Three checks are worth running on anyone you consider, us included.
Does the certification cover the work they will actually do for you, or a narrow corner of the business. Is it current and independently tested, rather than self-assessed once and left to age. And does the firm treat compliance as a live operating discipline or a folder it opens only when procurement asks. A partner that reaches for its ISO certificate solely during a bid is telling you something.
You can run all three checks on Telana in a few minutes. Our Cyber Essentials Plus certification, for one, is verifiable through the public certificate registry, not just claimed on this page.
Our security and data certifications
These are the standards that speak directly to how your information is protected once it sits inside systems we help run.
Cyber Essentials Plus. The UK scheme developed by the National Cyber Security Centre. The “Plus” tier is the one that counts: our controls were confirmed through an independent, hands-on vulnerability assessment rather than a questionnaire. It covers the practical defences that stop the large majority of common attacks, from patching and access control to secure configuration. The certificate is independently verifiable through the public registry.
ISO/IEC 27001. The leading global standard for information security management. It attests that Telana runs a managed information security system, with defined controls, regular audit, and management review, protecting our clients’ most sensitive data as an ongoing discipline rather than a one-off pass.
ISO/IEC 27018. The premier international standard for protecting personal data held in the cloud. For clients on Microsoft or Google estates, this is the one that governs how personal information is handled once it lives there.
Our quality and service-management certifications
Security is necessary but not sufficient. How a partner runs its own operation shapes what you experience day to day.
ISO 9001. The global standard for quality management. It reflects a rigorous quality management system built to deliver consistent, high-quality work against client needs, not variable output that depends on who happens to be staffed on your account.
ISO/IEC 20000-1. The international standard for IT service management. It attests that Telana delivers reliable, continuously improving services aligned to client requirements, which is the discipline that keeps a managed estate steady rather than reactive.
ISO 14001. The global standard for environmental management. It reflects an active environmental management system and an ongoing commitment to reducing our ecological footprint, minimising waste, and operating sustainably. For public-sector and enterprise buyers with social-value obligations, it is a credential that increasingly forms part of the assessment.
Our platform credential, as proof of delivery depth
Microsoft Azure Expert MSP. The highest level of recognition Microsoft awards to partners who deliver ongoing managed services. It is earned through an independent audit of both technical capability and operational maturity, and relatively few UK firms hold it. It matters here because most of the estates we work with are Microsoft-shaped, and Expert MSP status is Microsoft’s own signal that a partner can run those estates properly, end to end and at scale.
Alongside our Microsoft practice, Telana delivers across Google Cloud as well. If you want the detail on either, our Microsoft and Google partner pages set out the specifics.
How this connects to the way we work
Telana helps mid-sized technology functions shift capacity from running the business to driving it forward. A good deal of that work happens inside estates carrying real security and compliance obligations, often in regulated, financial, or public-sector settings. The certifications on this page are what let us remove waste from those estates without adding risk while we do it.
They also reflect a wider principle. We start with what is already there and make it sound before building anything new. Hardening an estate that has quietly drifted is often where security posture is won or lost, and it is exactly the kind of unglamorous work that rarely reaches a roadmap on its own.

Frequently asked questions
Is Telana Cyber Essentials Plus certified?
Yes. Telana holds Cyber Essentials Plus, the independently tested tier of the NCSC scheme, confirmed through a hands-on vulnerability assessment. The certificate is verifiable through the public certificate registry linked on our Trust Centre.
Which ISO standards does Telana hold?
Telana is certified to ISO 27001 (information security), ISO 27018 (personal data in the cloud), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 20000-1 (IT service management), and ISO 14001 (environmental management).
What is Azure Expert MSP and why does it matter?
Azure Expert MSP is the highest managed-services recognition Microsoft awards, granted after an independent audit of a partner’s technical and operational maturity. It matters because it is Microsoft’s own assurance that a partner can manage Azure estates reliably at scale, which is directly relevant if your estate is Microsoft-based.
How can we verify Telana’s certifications?
Our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate is confirmable through the public registry linked on this page. For ISO certificates or supplier-assurance documentation needed for a procurement process, contact us and we will provide them.
