A major UK restaurant chain was collecting mountains of operational data during shifts, but it wasn’t being used in real time to affect service behaviour. We were challenged to close this gap, turning static data into dynamic, actionable intelligence.

The Solution

Telana developed a dashboard (through our “simplify” methodology) to surface this data to the restaurants during service to improve service and operating margins.

The “simplify” methodology took all the raw data—from sales and labour costs to table turnover rates and menu item popularity—and presented it in a simple, intuitive visual format. This dashboard wasn’t a static report; it was a living tool that surfaced critical information to managers and staff during service.
